Today we helped out the OCAPICA booth selling tickets and programs to help fund raise for scholarship for Pacific Islanders. We also got a free shirt just for volunteering to help out at the health booth. This festival was a good example of some of the positive things in the marshallese community that brings us together as one. This was a good way to spectate and collect data on how the marshallese community interact with each other, it helps us come up with possible survey questions and hypotheses. Today we basically did some data collecting and observation on the activities of marshallese people. We worked more on our hypotheses and we started reading some of the articles that Diana gave us to read.
